Go On Living is an adaptation of Chinese dissident poet Liao Yiwu’s memoir For A Song and a Hundred Songs, which captures his four brutal years as a political prisoner after the massacre in Tiananmen Square.

This performance is a special collaboration between the Playwrights Foundation, the Department of Theater, Dance & Performance Studies and the Contemporary Drama Working Group and is co-sponsored by the Townsend Center for the Humanities, the Institute of East Asian Studies, the Department of English, the Center for Race and Gender, and the Program in Asian American and Asian Diaspora Studies.
